Question: 1994 ford ranger problems

Hi I have a 1994 Ford ranger xlt with a 4.0 and a automatic transmission I have a problem stalling it happens when hot outside it happens when I driving it for a while and than it stalls I have to wait to cool off for a bit and it runs and drive good I replaced the fuel filter it was clogged and thought that's the problem but it wasn't I had a mechanic to check it out to see what causing it to stall the fuel pressure is in normal specs and didn't find a problem with it and drove it about an hour it didn't even act up once and I took it to a garage to check the computer they found problems with mass air flow sensor or the pcm and not the fuel pump I am driving myself crazy and don't know where to turn if you have any experience with this truck please help
