Question: Check gages dashboard light is on

Starting the Jeep with no problem and after about 1 minute, the check gages light comes on dashboard and the screen says check battery. No trouble drive and No trouble starting the vehicle. Battery gage at zero. Sorry I have the Limited and I posted this under Laredo
