Question: cylinder four missing
Please advise if you know about a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with the engine light on and missing in lower speeds. Once you do get the engine to around 45 -50 mph the missing stops but the engine light is still on. I was told the diagnostic shows a problem with cylinder four. The mechanic I went to said he has seen them with three times the miles mine has and has never had to replace a fuel injector so he suggested a tune-up. They also said if the fuel injector needing replacing it would miss all of the time, not just when the engine is cold and at lower speeds. But after $400, it is still doing the same thing. They are telling me I need a new brain but I have already replaced the brain. Please advise if you have heard about this problem before.
