Question: Dealer is installing a new engine - What to lookout for?
My 2007 Chevolet Impala LT 3.5L engine was "missing" antifreeze for a few months until the engine started missing. It is covered with the 100,000/5Year power train warranty.
My question, what can I do to make sure things go well. Are there any additional service or parts that should be installed while the engine is being replaced? Maybe the O2 sensor?
Should I get an extended warranty?
There is a one year warranty on the new engine.
