Question: Error codes 442 & 455
2001 Seabring Conv. I replaced the gas cap and reset the codes, the errors came back. Is there a known "most likely" reason on this car to cause the Evap error codes? What would be somethings i can do before spending the money at a dealer to diagnose and fix? I have been told many shops do not have the appropriate diagnostic equipment to fix and you need to bring it to the dealer. Is this true? What specific equipment do you need?
