Question: fan clutch prob.
fan clutch is really screwed up. It DOES roar like a jet engine and it really robs the engine of power. Then it will stop (release) for no reason until the next stoplight. Then it will roar again even if you've been driving the car for an hour. I've never heared anything like it. It sounds like you have the accelerator floored, but it's the fan. It acts the same when the car is dead cold or really hot. Pulling away from a dead stop is the worst.
