If you don't have the original code you can contact the dealership and get it. You will need the old code to put in a new one. NOTE: even if you program in a new code the old code will still work for it is the home code and will note go away. I believe my ford expedition SUV had the code inside the owners manual somewhere. Once you put in the code it automatically opens the drives door; by hitting the second to the last button you will open all the doors; by hitting the last two buttons at the same time you can lock all the doors at any given time without ever putting in the codes. In ford built cars the key code was on a sticker on the left trunk hinge, I don't recall where it was put on my SUV.
Once you have the old code the owners manual tells you how to put in your own. Hope this helps
