Question: Need help fast 06 tahoe freaking out
Started my truck normally this morning. Allowed it to warm up and I always drive in 3rd gear until I hit 55 then shift manually to D. I took off fine left my driveway and realized that it would not shift out of first. Manually put it in D still nothing. Dropped down to 2nd gear and I was able to shift into 2nd. Pulled over and had On-star run diagnostic and they reported everything perfect. Went to oriellys (cause it's Sunday) used there hand held diagnostic and all it showed was that Idle was higher than normal. Also I have full tach but no speedometer. When I originally pulled over I had my hazards on and when I tried to turn them off they would not. Truck starts fine checked all fuses, checked all fluid. Everything normal. Please help. This is the only vehicle my wife and I have.
