I own a 2000 Voyager with a 3.3liter engine and 137,000 miles logged on the odometer. I have yet to change the spark plugs or wires on the vehicle. I should have done it 37000 miles ago. The platinum plugs are supposed to last that long (100k). I regularly check my gas mileage as this is the best indicator of how the engine is running. I still get the same mileage I did when the vehicle was brand new. If you have platinum plugs, they should last you 100,000 miles. The Voyager was driven in Connecticut for the first eight years, and Phoenix, AZ since then. So it has seen some extreme driving conditions. I also use synthetic oil ONLY, and generally change it between 8,000 and 12,000 miles. Yeah seems like a lot of miles on oil, but I've done this on every car I've owned since 1974. My '02 Dodge intrepid (2.7l) had 173k mi on it before it got stolen, and did not burn any oil. I miss that car. Thanks Phoenix
