Question: why my 2006 scion tc aux doesen't work?

I put the male/ male cable into the aux and connected into my ipod, but it doesen't work! Everything is well connected... Does anyone has any idea of what the problem may be? Do I need another cable?

I have found that the volume on mine is very low... I usually have to have the volume near 50 (for radio I usually have it around 25).

I've had the same problem. They said it was my ipod, but my ipod was working fine. A waste of ipod stereo since i can't even use my ipod.

I have had the same exact problems with mine since day 1, every time I go into Toyota and ask about it they try and tell me it must be something with my ipod...my ipod works fine though..and then i got a new one that worked fine as well...when connected it only works sometimes and you cannot control the music from the ipod itself which is very annoying
