Question: why my passenger window will not go up?

The passenger window on my 1996 honda civic 2 door will not go up. It goes down but wont go back up. It has a brand new motor and register and switch. The master switch on the drivers side does not work on the window either. both windows have new motors and registers. what could be wrong with with it I don't know what else to check.
