Keeping up with the manufacturer’s routine maintenance schedule is very important in the fight to keep your car in good shape. And while servicing your car more often may cost you more money in the long run, you may be able to recoup some of that money when it comes time to sell. 
 
If you are planning on selling your car, you will want potential buyers to know that you have continuously serviced the vehicle when necessary. In some situations manufacturers will claim that you did not follow the terms of their warranty will treat it as void. Having complete and detailed service records will allow you to dispute the manufacturers claim and leave no doubt in their minds that you have complied with the requirements of the warranty. And the more repair bills you’re able to charge to your warranty, the better.
