Honda plans to unveil the production version of its Insight Hybrid at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but the car won’t get the usual celebratory press conference. In fact, Honda doesn’t see fit to hold any press conferences at all. Instead, the hybrid will be unveiled on the main floor in front of the teeming masses. Honda marks the ninth auto maker to offer some kind of snub to the North American International Auto Show, with eight major makers deciding not to attend at all. [Source: Autoblog]
