
Not too long ago, we reported Kawasaki had pulled out of the 2009 Moto GP. Looks like that even with the company’s decision to pull funding for its factory team, the company may be forced to stick with the sport until 2011. Why? It’s contractually obligated to Moto GP. Way back when the sport first got off the ground, Kawasaki promised to stick with it, thick or thin until 2011. Not the most ideal circumstances for competition, but at least they’re staying in the game. [Source: Autoblog]
