Volvo has just released pictures of its redesigned 2011 S60 sedan. With a more rounded appearance than the previous generation S60, the new car has a much more sporty appearance. Volvo will be offering a pedestrian detection system on the new S60 that can detect pedestrians in front of the car and apply the brakes automatically, so long as the car is traveling below 30 mph. No word yet on the drivetrains available in the S60, but lets hope Volvo’s deliciously rumbly five-cylinder engines remain on tap. Volvo plans to officially unveil the car at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show. Skål på den! [Source: TopSpeed.com]
