2000 Cadillac DeVille DTS Review

I owned a 2000 Cadillac DeVille DTS for about a year. During that year I had no issues with the vehicle. Performance-wise, it was excellent. Excellent off-the-line performance (especially for a front wheel drive car) and power in the upper RPMs that not many vehicles have. The Northstar is well-known for it's power.

Quality is another story. I wasn't pleased with the quality of this vehicle. It was very loud inside - squeeky and creaky all over the place. However, it was extemely comfortable. I often received compliments from passengers sitting in the back.

The ride was fairly smooth. The DTS has a tighter suspension than that of the DHS or base model. However, if handled very, very nicely for such a soft-riding car. Last but not least - it turned heads everywhere I went.

This is an excellent car to own and it's even fun to drive. If you can get past the little squeeks inside the cabin, you'll really appreciate owning a car like this...
