  • "The Traverse is nothing but a big problem. Only getting 12 MPG, it has electrical problems, steering problems, Have had air-conditioning problems, heater replaced, gps goes out can't read. The car died with smoke coming out of the engine stranded on roadside. Had to take it in for the air bag replacement. Each time I was looked at as a complainer and the Chevrolet service department was not upfront with me as to the problems of the Traverse. I had to go to the Sales Agent for him to tell me the Traverse has had a lot of problems. Now I'm told the coolant has gone into the gas tank. They did not tell me this is a recall and now tells me it is the Fuel tank that requires replacement. I have had to pay $1800 in the past month and now they are asking another $1200. This is outragious!! If you are thinking of purchasing a Chevy think twice. Not a good idea! I am a grandmother of 4 grandchildren and I don't feel safe in the car. Now I see there are ignition problems and brake issues that the car can roll. Aren't there honest people out there? What is the matter with GM?? The car has front heated seats that go off after a few minutes. Seatbelts had to replaced due to a recall. What next I ask?"
