Good student car, unfortunate defects

The positive sides of the mk6 Escort are driving comfort and fuel efficiency. However mine rusts very fast around the back wheels and the motor is cranky when it's cold. Pros: Great running car, repairs always minor. slow acceleration, decent high speed.
Cons: ugly... unless you're into that kind of thing... and dents sooo easily.
