I owned a 2005 Passat 1.8T GLS. It is a pain in the rear. My mechanic and I should not be as close as we became. The VW customer service is excellent but I will never own a VW ever again. There were way to many things going wrong. It was not expensive but a few hundreds here and weekly/monthly ....
