On a Saturday I received a warning light. I called the service department to find out what to do? To my surprise the response from Danny Valazquez was can you stop in now for them to take a look at it? When we arrived, Danny said, he would get a tech to look at it now, and that is just what he did. We learned the radio need a software update. Danny asked rather than schedule an appointment if we had about 30 minutes they could just take care of it now. After I pulled my jaw off the floor I said, "Yes".
Now this is the way to service a customer! I can't say enough about how impressed I was with the dealership. Danny was respectful of my time, and did not give me the usual make an appointment line, he just got us taken care of and we were off with our Saturday activites in about 30 minutes. Danny also said that if this did not fix the problem, just to call and they would get it fixed. It was like nothing had happened and everything was all good.
Here is the frosting on the cake. As the salesperson who sold us the vehicle walked by (Nick Pattenaude) he noticed us in the waiting room. He walked over to make sure everything was ok and to see if there was anything he could do.
I realize this is probably not a big deal and is what you would expect. I think it is GREAT! Most car dealers are less about service and more about moving cars, the folks here have figured out how to do both of these well.
Thank you to Danny, Nick and Team Bettenhausen.
