Mechanic Q: Brake lights not working?

I have a 2000 Chevrolet impala. I have replaced the bulbs,the brake light switch, and the fuses. still not working. What else can i do to fix the problem? One of the high beams on the car isn't working can that cause the brake lights to not work?
