Mechanic Q: Issues with my 2000 Volvo S80?

Frequently, the A/C blower comes on and stays on in my 2000 Volvo s80. I have noticed it mainly in the sun and I have to unlock the veh, switch on the ignition and then shut it off for it to go off. Whats the solution for this? Thanks
