Mechanic Q: Why do the motor mounts keep breaking??

The top and bottom motor mounts on this vehicle have broken and been replaced more than three times in the past few years. The bottom motor mount was replaced by the dealership after it last broke, less than 18 months ago. It broke again recently and we haven't taken it in to get it fixed yet. Is there something wrong with the motor mounts made for this vehicle? What would cause them to keep breaking like this?

Is there something wrong with the motor mounts made for this vehicle? What would cause them to keep breaking like this? This car also has many electrical problems - you can't use the computer to tell you what problems the vehicle is having. The mileage screen normally reads "no bus" and the 'check engine' light is often on.
