Mechanic Q: Replacement brake rotors?

At 30K the rotors are warped and it seems from a mazda user site that this is a common problem with this car. Are OEM upgrades for the rotors available and what are some good choices. Would drilled and slotted rotors be an option that would make a difference and would these new ceramic pads help?
