Mechanic Q: Vehicle headliner is coming apart from dome light.?

The headlinerr is coming apart from the dome light, both sides in the rear near the airbags and on the drivers rear window. The dealership wants $1500 and 2 days to repair it. Any ideas on other repair facilities and less expensive repair? Thanks.

Q: vehicle ceiling material?

My vehicle roof ceiling material seems to be splitting and coming apart from the ceiling light and around the airbags in the back of the car on both sides in the same place. I'm not sure if it is the extreme heat of this past summer or what. Has anyone else seen this in this car? Thanks for any input. If so, what is needed to fix this.

Mechanic Q: rear driver side window?

The rear window on the drivers side will not go down when any of the buttons are pressed. It just makes a clicking sound like it is trying to work, but will not go on. Any ideas on what the diagnosis and cost of this problem. Thanks 2006 VW Jetta 2.5 PZEV
