Q: Replaced alternator, now car won't start.?

Pulled positive bat. cable while car was running. Car died, replaced alternator & it acts like it wants to start but doesn't. Got spark while motor turning over, got good fuel pressure in the fuel rail. All electrics are hooked up. Any suggestions? Don
