Mechanic Q: Rattling behind glovebox.?

I've recently noticed a rattling noise behind my glove box. I've opened the glove box to see if the noise if coming from there but its beyond where I can see. I don't know much about cars but I don't want to take it to a mechanic and get charged an arm and a leg.
