Mechanic Q: Headlamps stay on?

have a 99 escalade the the headlamps and taillights stay on while the truck is running. It is equipped with drl. The green light for the drl is off I guess due to the headllights being on. Any suggestions as to where my problem is located. Dont want to buy a drl module or replace the bcm if not needed. I have replaced the light switch already. Thanks
