Q: install a switch to turn on the fans so car runs cooler.?

I would like to have both fans come on at the same time by using a on-off switch which I will install on the dash. I do not want to change any of the cars normal fan features(like turning on at 210 degrees). I am a novise so a full explanation will be needed.
