Mechanic Q: I cannot get any fire to the plugs or from the coil..?

I have put a new coil on and can't get fire from it either. I checked the distributor and it is spinning. I can't find any wires cut or chewed on. The truck was driven to my driveway and parked almost 2 years ago, but ran fine.

Mechanic Q: How can I determine why I am not getting fire from the coil.?

The coil is new. The truck has set for about two years, but ran fine when it was parked. It is a 318.
