Mechanic Q: Do I have to remove fule tank?

I think that there is some blockage in filler tube which is aluminum and what I think is in there is the little round disk that is spring loaded to keep contaminants out .

my neighbor , and myself figured out my problem where the rubber tube fits onto the top of the tank there was a little round disk made of plastic that was restricting the flow of gas into the tank it was removed and problem is solved, thanks for your concerns

it should be a round slider switch on the left side of your steering wheel on the dash
