Q: timing chain?

when does one need timing chains replaced. i just hit 200,000

A: why does my jeep back fire?

mine would hesitate upon acceleration, backfire or pop (felt it in the gas pedal). put it neutral and the engine rev'd fine. back into gear same problem. would have to pull over and restart the jeep. mechanic had no clue!!
