OK, I'm sold   . . . . .
I am compelled to write this to help others that may be where I was... confused. There are a few options I was
considering and to be honest, the Infinity was a passive entry for me. My interest was mainly centered around the Lexus
and BMW but Infinity and new Acura entered the field of possibles. I was heavily leaning toward the Lexus and finally
agreed with my love to drive the Infinity before I lept for the Lexus. Having driven all the others listed above, I was
ready to make my decision. As I stated... my interest was really not focused on the Infinity but it was a possible if
the others didn't wow me. The others did but when I drove the Infinity, there was something inherently different about
this car. While the Lexus and BMW have proved themselves with past models and this year is no different, I did not
expect the new Infinity to be on the same level. In my opinion... it wasn't; It surpassed them. Other may disagree on
the looks or the name plate but the experience of "wearing" this machine was unlike the others. Rather than feeling the
ride, I assimilated into it. It was a bit surreal and strange to explain. The drive was more of placing the vehicle
where you wanted it. Precisely moving it like a chess piece. Rather than wanting it to go and pointing it, you simply
willed it there and it was. While I can only hope reliability is up to par with their past record; I can state without
hesitation, if you remove all the name plates and felt each ride, this car simply rose above the others in every aspect
that was important to me. Cons: The navigation system is a little cumbersome. (I am in the process of modding it with
an aftermarket chip so it will perform as I wish without having to park the vehicle to have full control). Summary...
If you are confused in the luxury sports sedan market as I was, drive it. That answered all my questions and the
decision became clear soon after. I hope this helps. Dan
