where are the relays located for the remote keyless entry system on a 1993 chev caprice four door . Thanks bill

The system woks whenever the engine is cold or not up to normal temperature. Then it doesn't work. Same thing when the car engine cools off, it works again. This happens every day without fail. Thanks Bill

Mechanic Q: keyless entry system?

sometimes the rke system works and some times it doesn't. It makes no difference if it's in the garage or out in the sun. The trunk opener inside the car sometimes works when the key fob doesn't and sometimes neither work, and sometimes they both work! Any help would be appreciated. Also, where might I find a wiring diaghram? Thanks again. Bill

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that I did change the batteries in one of the two remotes that I have, even though the voltage was normal in both remotes. I also tried reprogramming it as it has been recommended in other type autos. Thanks agaim, Bill
