Question: 02 ford windstar idles high

02 windstar started idling very high last week. mechanic scanned it and got 1504, and 1506. Told me to replace the IAC, and the TPS. I replaced them and it still did it. I thought maybe the IAC was defective, so I rturned it and tried anther, still idles high. This happens for a feww minutes when I start it. It also does it when I turn the wheel. Also when driving, after i take my foot off the pedal it feels like it still excels for a second or 2. Had it checked for vacuum leaks and there are none. What else could it be?

Check the throttle plates. Make sure there isn't carbon causing binding or sticking when the throe is released. If it's OK, you should have a second shop look at it as it may be the computer reacting to a lean condition.
