Question: 10 seconds of smoke

I have a 1991 Geo Prizm with a 1.4 L engine that works perfectly. Always starts instantly, never uses oil, never over heats, runs smoothly perfect car except for one thing. If the car has not been started in 48 hours, I get about 10 seconds of light grey smoke when it is first started. After that initial smoke, I can start it a hundred times a day and I don't get even a whiff of smoke...but that first start (if it has been sitting for a couple days) I get smoke. Another clue is it still gives that initial smoke (but a lot less) in the winter (cold) months. Any clues?

If you are not loosing coolant or oil I would say it's normal. Cars will smoke on start up.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
