Question: 1968 f100 ranger wont stay on unless be the problem?gas pedal is pressed down what can

truck will not stay on to idle unless gas pedal is pressed

You've got an idle problem, that's likely caused by a vacuum leak or a carburetor problem. Does it matter if the truck is warm or cold? Have you checked to see if the choke is opening/closing properly?
