Question: 1974 dodge dart won't turn over

I have a 1974 dodge dart 318. The engine won't crank..I replaced the starter and the battery and when I hit the key the starter turns the engine maybe 1 rotation and bam it acts like the battery is to dead to spin the engine. I have the same exact results with trying to jumpstart it. Could it be a bad battery cable? Either ground or posotive?

Yes it could be a bad battery cable or connection. I would check all the connection before I replaced the battery cables. I like to replace both if I am going to do one.
