Question: 1994 Thunderbird LX Heater Control Module

Car was used to jump start another vehicle, afterwhich the hearter control module went blank, no functions. I replaced with on line used part, no change. Ford dealer checked and said there is power up to the unit so unit is bad. Any suggestions before I try a third unit? Also the online stores want to know if the Bird has "automatic transmission C" or not??? .Bird has an automatic transmission but "C" I don't know.

If you jump started it backwards the module could be bad. And a used part may or may not be good. If the dealer tested it, I would go with their diagnosis.
