Question: 1999 ford f-150

I took my truck down to a local garage requesting a tuneup. They stated they would call with price. They quoted 750.00 for new plugs, boots & fuel induction service, i okayed. I picked the truck up after service & it runs terribly. The engine is loud with a ticking noise and acceleration is poor??

It sounds like they mis-wired the plugs or something similar. Receiving a vehicle that runs worse than when you brought it in is unacceptable. Try taking it back and asking to talk to the manager or owner.
