Question: 1 tire worn out other 3 OK

Right front tire is badly worn - straight across the tire, no more wear inside than outside.
There is no evidence of cupping.
4-wheel Alignment checked, it's all OK.
No shimmy in the steering wheel, or in seat of pants for that matter.
Car does not pull to either side, however it does tend to wander toward the right when on the Interstate.
Why is the right front tire worn??
