Question: 2012 Ford Fiesta Schedule

Hi:
Your site, and the manual, say to service this car for the FIRST time at 10K. Is that right? Seems like a ton of miles before first service. Any reason?

If that is what the manufacturer recommends, then that is correct. Machining processes and oil technology have come a long way in the last 20 years, so extended servicing is becoming more common.

Personally, I am still a bit old school and would at least change the oil at 3K and rotate the tires at 6K, but it is not required. That is more my own preference and bias more than anything else.
