Question: 2012 Touareg TDI Lux with clunking sound?

Hi there, my wife and I recently (less than 2 weeks ago) purchased a new 2012 Touareg TDI Lux - last weekend I noticed that when I put the car in reverse and back up, there is a clunking sound when I hit the brake. Today I also noticed this sound when I am driving at slow speeds (in a parking lot) and apply the brake. Any advice would be appreciated.

Take it in under warranty. And when you are at the dealer, actually show the service writer or technician what is happening. They can not fix anything unless they can verify the complaint.

It could be that what you are experiencing is normal for that vehicle, but you should take it and have it checked while its still on their dollar.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
