Question: 4 wheel drive doesn,t work
when you hit either the four high or low you can here something clicking in the dash but it wont engage the front axle. This happened before and it was a vacuum line that burned off on the exhaust and I checked that first and its fine. The biggest thing is I needed 4 wheel to park it where its at and now it wont even try to engage at all except the clicking in the dash.Could it be another vacuum going to the front axle cause I noticed that for it to go in four wheel it has to engage the transfer case and the front axle .I,m old school and used to just the transfer locking in the 4 wheel unless you had manual hubs too. Please help I,m stumped and i have to fix it myself.Cant afford to take it to a garage. So any thoughts you guys may have I would really appreciate it and thank you.
