Question: 4wheel won't ingauge

91 Chevy s10 4×4.will ingauge when I pull on cable

It could be the vacuum switch for the front axle. Make sure there is vacuum going to front diff when you put it into 4wd. Or you will have a two wire connector going to the front diff. Make sure when you pull it into 4wd that there is power and ground there. If no vacuum or voltage you need a t-case switch. If you have vacuum and power the gear in the front diff is stuck or broken
