Question: 528i Fuel Filter

This site has a fuel filter replacement at 45,000 miles. When I check cost the site suggests replacing the fuel system at a cost of $560. Using Google, I cannot find a stand alone filter for this car. I am confused about the required fuel filter service. Can you clarify?

i think the site is incorrect. I beleive your filter is part of the fuel pump inside the tank and is not easily serviable. Your best bet is to contact the dealer and they can tell you 100% if it is replaceable.

If it is like the earlier BMWs it will be under the car or behind a fender somewhere probably covered by a plastic panel.
