Question: 83 Cadillac Coupe Deville codes 4.8.8 & 0.7

when I press the Warmer and off buttons 4.8.8 and then 0.7 comes up and the Service Soon and Service Now lights come on. I been having trouble with my car stalling after driving for a while, it will lose RPMs and if I let up on accelerator then press down on it sometimes it will continue to drive, other times it will stall and I have to wait to get it to start up again. Please can someone tell me what could be wrong?

Are you interpreting the #s properly? Here is some info on that:

As for the stalling issue, if you haven't had a complete tune-up in the past year, now is the time to get one done. It will fix most driveability issues, and eliminate the basics which will help you isolate the remaining issues.

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
