Question: 95 dodge dakota will not run

95 dodge dakota v6 3.9l it all started a couple weeks ago with back fireing and sputtering while driveing and it also liked to stall when at red lights or when putting it in reverse now i was just driving it yesterday and it shut off while i was doing like 60mph so i pull over and wait for a tow truck and once i was waiting i popped the hood and just started checking for things and realized i wasnt getting spark so i checked all spark plugs and conections and everything was good and as soon as the truck driver got there it had started up so he had followed me to my house and once i got there he left but i had left my truck running while i went inside to get something and i came back out and it had shut off i tryed starting it again and no start and thats how its been sitting since yestered day
