Question: A4 1.8L 99 model doors not locking with key or remote

Have checked the fuse box and everything is fine so I am out of ideas please help

I'd first start out by going to your local auto-parts store and having the battery in your key fob tested. Most stores have a machine there that will do it for free to see if the battery is dead or not. If the battery is OK, you'll probably have to take it into a shop as the key fob (transmitter) or the receiver (in the vehicle) is no longer working properly.
