Question: AC air intermitantly blows out defrost ducts.

Problem occurs under engine load.Also hear a ratteling sound behind the dash when this occurs. The ac system was discharged & recharged to specs.The air temp varies from approx. 48 degrees to 60 degrees when this happens.

Sounds like a vacuum leak in the line controlling the blend door actuator, here's a link with some more info:
